Candle Care

Proper candle care is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Follow these guidelines to maximize the lifespan and performance of your candles:

1. Trim the wick: Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch above the wax. This helps prevent excessive smoke and ensures a clean, even burn and maximizes your burn time.

2. Burn time: Allow your candle to burn for at least 1 hour on the first use, or until the entire top layer of wax has melted. This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of the candle.

3. Avoid drafts: Place your candle in a draft-free area to prevent uneven burning and excessive flickering. Drafts can cause the flame to burn unevenly and may lead to soot buildup.

4. Safety first: Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface and keep them away from flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep them out of reach of children and pets.

5. Extinguish properly: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle. Avoid blowing directly onto the flame, as this can cause hot wax to splatter.

6. Storage: When not in use, store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve their scent and prevents color fading.

7. Candle holders: Use appropriate candle holders that are sturdy and heat-resistant. This ensures stability and prevents any accidents or damage to surfaces.

8. Recycling: Once your candle has burned down, recycle the glass container or repurpose it for other uses. Consider using it as a small planter or storage container.

By following these candle care tips, you can enjoy the full potential of your candles and create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your home. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at lkncandle@gmail.com.

Fire Starter Care

FIRE STARTERS ARE NOT CANDLES.

1. Burn: Only burn in an outdoor fire pit or wood burning fireplace. Never use in a gas burning fireplace or wood stove.

2. Safety: Never leave a fire unattended. In case of an emergency, extinguish using a fire extinguisher. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Not for consumption.

3. Storage: Store your fire starters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve their scent and prevents color fading. Never store near a heat source.

4. Instructions: For best results use with kindling in your fireplace or fire pit. Light wick and paper. Allow a few minutes for starter to fully ignite.
